Portrait Photography

I approach portraiture as a collaboration between photographer, subject and environment. Using light, gesture and location, I create considered images shaped by the individual rather than a predetermined style. I’m interested in the balance between how someone presents themselves and what emerges through the process of making the portrait, allowing each image to develop its own character and sense of place.
