Photography Case Study - NHS x BSPRM
BSPRM are a medical society closely connected with NHS and private medical practice, administration and academic development. Together their education, connect and develop their fields and in doing so support their members through CPD and career development opportunities.
Over the past few years I’ve been privileged to work closely with them to document there programmes and project for marketing and reporting purposes. This includes a mixture of event, PR and headshot photography.
Here I’ll go through a few examples to show how BSPRM give back to their members.
Conferences
The National COVID conference was in Birmingham where BSPRM partnered with the NHS to deliver teaching and update son the progress of COVID research and prevention. The brief was to capture the speakers and attendees in the main hall and during the break.
Networking Events
Alongside the main conferences, such as the COVID conference in Birmingham, BSPRM also connect with local hospitals and teaching centres in order to connect local practitioners with relevant service providers and fellow members. Here in Wythenshaw there were talks on new practices and research alongside networking opportunities.
Headshots
One of the benefits offered by BSPRM is the opportunity at their AGM for members to update their profile pictures with fresh professional headshots. This is a service the offer to their member free of charge and in an accessible manner, being a walk up and wait approach they can fit it in between talks and lunch. This also helps the society have a unifying look to their members photos without the stress of dealing with many different providers across the country,
AGM Meetings
The national AGM is a main touch point for BSPRM and their members. It is an opportunity to for the society to meet with its members, deliver great value for their memberships and offer the floor to members to steer the direction of the society. Photographs of the speakers and attendees are great marketing and newsletter content.
Presentations
Every event with BSPRM has been structured around the CPD opportunities. This often means several presentations featuring talks from esteemed members and guests. As well as being useful for marketing and news, thees images go onto to be useful for the individuals speaking.
